How it works
- Sit down at a table with a Pancake buy-in.
- Play chess. At move 10, 20, 30, and game end, the game pauses for a Pancake checkpoint.
- At each checkpoint: Check, Call, Raise, Freeze (lock the pot, keep playing chess), or Fold & Resign.
- Winner of the chess game takes the pot minus a 4% rake.
- The outcome is determined by your chess skill, not chance — Pancakes just make the moves more interesting.
