Refund Policy & Pancake Policy

Pancakes (π₯) are closed-loop, in-Service credits for a skill game. They:
- stay inside ChipChess β they are not a currency;
- have no external value and cannot be redeemed or exchanged outside the Service;
- cannot be transferred between accounts or sold to third parties;
- may be adjusted, removed, or expired at our discretion, including in response to cheating, fraud, or chargebacks;
- may in the future be sent to a regulated third-party wallet platform if and when we enable that feature. Until we announce and document that change, Pancakes stay inside the Service.
1. General Policy
Pancake purchases are sales of a digital good delivered immediately on purchase. Because delivery is instant and the Pancakes may be spent inside the Service right away, all sales are generally final and non-refundable, except as described below or as required by applicable law.
2. EU/EEA and UK Consumers β Right of Withdrawal
Under EU Directive 2011/83/EU (and equivalent UK law) you normally have 14 days from purchase to withdraw from a distance sale. This right does not apply to digital content that has been delivered immediately with your express prior consent, once delivery has begun. By clicking βBuyβ at checkout, you expressly consent to immediate delivery of Pancakes and acknowledge that you lose the 14-day right of withdrawal as a result. We display this consent notice at checkout.
If you did not consume any Pancakes after purchase and can demonstrate this, please contact us within 14 days and we will evaluate your request.
3. When We Will Refund
- Duplicate charges β if you were billed more than once for the same pack, we refund the extra.
- Failed delivery β if Pancakes were not credited within 24 hours of a successful payment and we cannot resolve it, we refund.
- Unauthorized charge β if your card was used without your permission, contact us and your card issuer immediately.
- Material service failure β if the Service is substantially broken for a prolonged period.
- Mandatory statutory rights β anything your local consumer-protection law specifically requires.
4. When We Will Not Refund
- Buyerβs remorse, changing your mind, or losing Pancakes at the tables.
- Accounts suspended for cheating, collusion, multi-accounting, or abuse.
- Pancake balances expired after prolonged inactivity (weβll warn you first where feasible).
- Third-party costs (currency conversion, issuer fees) charged by your bank.
5. How to Request a Refund
Email hs@marketmegood.com with:
- the email address on your account;
- the Stripe receipt number or approximate date/amount of purchase;
- a short description of the issue.
Weβll respond within 5 business days. Approved refunds are returned via the original payment method, typically within 5β10 business days depending on your card issuer.
6. Chargebacks
Please contact us before filing a chargeback β we can usually resolve the issue faster. Chargebacks filed without an attempt to resolve may result in suspension of the account and forfeiture of remaining Pancakes. We reserve the right to dispute chargebacks we believe are fraudulent.
